Gala Awards Dinner: Art Institute of Chicago
The Art Institute of Chicago was founded in 1879, a critical era in the history of Chicago as civic energies were devoted to rebuilding the metropolis that had been destroyed by the Great Fire of 1871. This year's Gala Dinner will be held in the famous Chicago Stock Exchange Room, designed by architects Louis Sullivan and Dankmar Adler. Don't miss this event -- which will include private tours of the Art Institute's renowned impressionist collection.
